Gil is one of the most accomplished and recognized knifemakers in the world. He has been a professional knifemaker since 1957 and a pioneer in the industry. His accomplishments are almost too numerous to mention. He is an inductee in the Blade magazine Knifemaker Hall of Fame. He is also presidnet of the Knifemakers' Guild. Few people have earned the respect of their peers as much as Gil has. Few people can claim a 53 year career of doing anything.
I met Gil in 2003 and we conisider ourselves brothers. Gil and his family have become family to me and I have constantly honored and thankful to know them.
